On an airplane

Midday

Sunny

Craving something a bit upbeat

Ambient plane noise (some babies crying, flight attendants speaking on the intercom, flight attendants speaking going down the aisle with snacks)

Low ish light

Most people have their shades down

I had seen some social media stories before take off showing reviews of films from Sundance

Had me thinking about reviews in general.

Full stomach

Water in the system

Nobody sitting in my row

Spirit airlines

From take off to this moment mid flight

Roosevelt has carried me smooth and softly

Upbeat futuristic vibrations

Was able to write with focus with this music playing encouragingly in the background

On my phone

Tapping away

The pace of the music helps set the pace of the writing, moving quickly with ease

My left leg tapping to the beat

Lasers buzzing in the album

Really enjoyed for the mindset of wanting to write / with no service / am excited to rest after this pump. It’s a pump of energy. Makes me think of being in a cycle class and someone saying, ‘keep going, let’s tackle this uphill and ride the downhill.’ Except it’s writing, it’s giving me the energy to PUSH.

For the experience of wanting to blast out some work, to crank out a workout, a writing piece, with graceful pacing yet still quickly, this album will handle you gladly. Allows you to move quick, yet still have open space to think in your own. Not completely taking all of your attention. Pulsing you through what you want to give attention to.

41 mins.

Go.
